Not sure what is going on with Margo's, or how desperate they are for business lately, but I received a direct e-mail advert, yet had no prior visits to the shop. I wonder whether they have purchased my contact information from another shop that I have visited; I have not attended any bridal shows so far this year.
This is an amazing store. My sister got her wedding gown and our maids gowns here. The service was wonderful and we felt we had great savings because alterations were included in the price of all of our gowns, even Sara's bridal gown. Traci was wonderful and found the perfect dress for Sara. The gowns were altered at the store, which we though was incredible -- they fit perfectly we all looked wonderful! I give them the highest points. Love these ladies.
I love Margo's! The staff is super professional. They are so willing to help you make your day perfect. Anything you want or need, the ladies at Margo's can and will provide! Their service is super fast and always friendly. I've yet to have a bad experience working with Margo's A Wedding Place. Margo is a perfectionist when it comes to her seamstry work and every garment always comes out looking perfect. 10/10 Will always recommend to my family and my friends.
I wouldn't even give Margo's any form of stars! She was very mean and rude and made it seem that my day was just about her getting money from me for my dress and veil. She ruined my dress by not even fitting it at all and saying she did. My dress was huge and you could see down it and I could just step out of it and even have to unzip it. I told her it need to be taken in more and she said no that she did all the alterations on it that was needed. I was so disappointed and upset that the main point of my wedding was not perfect when your dress is suppose to be perfect. I would not recommend going to her I would definitely love to get my money back for my dress but that would not happen because Margo will only show you what will make her the most money. And when it came to my veil she only showed me one and it was expensive! I highly do not recommend going here for the most important part of your wedding day!
Perhaps they are owned by the same person or company that has more than one small independent bridal shop?
I have never given a bad review....ever!! My fiance and I went to this store to look for a bridal belt and while I was in there, there was an employee who asked me to get out of the way so the bride could view herself. I was like, wow...ok. Rudest customer service ever!!!! Needless to say we walked out and don't plan on returning. Too bad, oh well. There are plenty of other stores in the city.
